Better than a Baby Green Bag

This miniature replica of the original reisenthel carry bag is so cute! It would be great for 'play-shopping' and could double as toy storage.
Available from design3000.

I haven't browsed on Etsy for ages, so was suitably satisfied when I came across this "Save The Whales" girls onesie - only $10. Whaling is such a current topic and is gaining lots of celebrity backing....and it is happening in Australian waters.....
Thanks Rainbowcreator for putting something meaningful in such an eye-catching position! Made in Australia, shipping is only $4.50.

....An organic frog washcloth.

To get us started, we've found this great info page from Brisbane Organic Markets. This, along with some feedback from a valued reader, sees the launch of My Jnr's newest topic "Organic Goods". We'll be bringing the latest organic baby products to you soon. Let us know if you have a particular favourite you'd like to see featured.

Today, Treehugger provide some advice on "Leaving your shoes at the door" - to prevent bringing any outdoor nasties in.
Cuts down on the vaccuuming too!

The cloth vs disposables debate may never end, but here is a product that may confuse everyone for a while: the Safeties Nature nappy. These 100% biodegradable nappies break down completely within 6 - 8 months. This could only be the start, as they admit their packaging is not yet biodegradable, but is a work in progress. They can be found at many locations or if your town isn't listed call or email.

Finally, people are taking more interest in preserving the environment. We try to do our bit by walking where possible, using Green Power and using water mindfully.
There's so much more we can do though. This blog, Treehugger, has some great ideas for Greening Your Baby.
My name is Katie Mackenzie. I have a gorgeous baby girl, and a husband who shares my appreciation for design. We hope to bring Holly up in a place that is full of fun, style and function. We have no room for clutter. And we are limited to products that are available to Australians. This blog summarises our efforts.
