Children’s Books

The NY Times recently announced the titles on their "Best Illustrated Children's Books" list for 2007. The featured illustrations look amazing. I need to get onto Amazon to find them.

Buy Buy Baby

Available from Amazon, this book discusses the advertising world's latest target: the infant. I am not endorsing this approach at all, but I think one needs to be educated to their marketing tricks, if one stands a chance of beating them.

Bedtime Stories

I just love this "Books to Wear" PJ set. Naming all the parts of the body before bed will be so much fun. There are many other 'story' designs as well, enough for each night of the week!

Available online from The Kids Store.

Kid-wrangling

I loved reading Kaz Cooke's "Up the Duff" when I was pregnant, so was sure to buy the next installment "Kid-wrangling" before Holly came along. "Kid-wrangling" is a humorous and realistic take on parenting, from babies, to toddlers and beyond..... I don't get to spend half as much time reading "Kid-wrangling" as I did "Up the Duff", but I still find it great to refer to when I have a question....

We bought "Kid-wrangling" on Amazon.

There's heaps of great books out there though - tell us your favourite baby book in the comments section below.
