Extreme Parenting

More than 65 percent of moms drink caffeinated beverages to get through their day.

Teeth and more teeth

We are teething here AGAIN....and this time it's war! Her eye teeth are coming through with vengeance and she's not happy at all about it.

I remembered a childcare worker had mentioned a different teething gel before, and in a fit of desperation, I googled it and then tracked it down......

It's called sm33, and it's got just a bit more punch than other gels. The website has a cool teething chart. I am so glad to see we don't have long to go till we've got all 20 teeth through....

Rumours about the Bee

We heard a certain Bee isn't passing the Australian Safety Standards testing and this is the reason it has been delayed.........so, although it is currently available on the net and ebay, it may be worth waiting till later this year, when they hope to have it safely released on our shores.

Another thing to consider is the warranty - we've been told this isn't always available when the Bee (or similar) is purchased through a site such as Ebay. We've recently had our front wheel replaced through our 2 yr warrenty on the Chameleon....so are really conscious of how important it is to go through a reputable dealer, as the process was so easy......and we had the new wheel in place in a matter of days.

Just some food for thought for anyone thinking they should "jump the gun" and order it online. You've been warned!

Back!

What didn't kill us only made us stronger and we've got faster than ever internet.........so hold on to your hats!!! Here we go!!!

Dial Up Days

There will be fewer posts over the next week - we are currently on dial up and I don't quite have the required patience or time to upload pictures etc on our less than optimal set up!

Will be back after the weekend. Check back with us next week for more cool kid finds.

29 Sat Mar

Let there be light - but not tonight

Don't forget to turn off your lights at 8pm tonight to support Earth Hour.

I will finally get to use all my nice candles at once!

(FYI - their site is running really slowly. Must be getting lots of hits.)

House Hunting Hiatus

Sorry folks - we are house hunting in a big way and it is taking up all our spare time.

Very exciting to be looking at some very nice potential homes. I could imagine us living in most of them.

We will aim to post 2 - 3 times a week during this busy time.
