I used to love these when I was a kid. Great to see Oobi have brought them back....
The Oobi 70s Space Hopper can be found at The Kids Store.

Russian Dolls have always fascinated me. I love their simplicity in design and function. These ones are available from Baby's Got Style.

This Blabla softie, called "Violet", was handmade by a Peruvian women's collective and is available from Minifashionista.

Felt and crochet toys are all the rage right now. Minifashionista are currently selling this funky felt mini sushi set by Lily Bean. Too cool!

These cute little 2D bears are popping up in all the right places. I've seen them in upmarket baby shops, art gallery shops and even in the hands of Paris Hilton (who apparently bought one for the pregnant Nicole).
They are soft and furry, like a teddy bear, but they have no 'insides', so they are completely flat. I like the Koala Grey one - very 'Oz'.
You can get yours from UrbanBaby.

A few Mums have mentioned to me that they have already done the Xmas shopping. YIKES!
I've started to have a look, but have not made any purchases as yet.
This ride-on mouse by Wheely Bug is currently top of my list. Available from honeybee toys.

These wooden maracas from Unique Kids are one of the few musical instruments Holly could actually independently play at the moment!

Another cool product from Ten In The Bed.
The red is sold out currently - popular little fella.

My second creation, this little worm. 100% handmade. I like him a lot.
I am having so much fun being crafty, I started a new project right away.
Interesting article today on Treehugger re testing toys/kids for lead.........

Now we've got our Bumbo, but our little girl has discovered that she has feet! So, she spends all her time trying to suck on her toes whilst seated in the Bumbo, giving her Mother repeated heart attacks! She spends the rest of the time trying to twist and wriggle her way out of it so she can play with her other toys.......
So - we are considering ordering the tray that fits the seat, to keep her feet out of sight, and give her somewhere to rest her toys when playing.
The tray can be purchased directly from Bumbo.

The folk who brought us the inflatable baby spa , have just released new products in their go-home junior line.
These Water Racers would be such fun for Daddy to use at bath time. I am sure baby would enjoy it too!
You can get your Water Racers, and more, over at go-home.

Thanks to babygadget for the tip! These cute little handmade dumplings are made by One Square Tree, and can be found for sale on Etsy.
So so so cute.
My name is Katie Mackenzie. I have a gorgeous baby girl, and a husband who shares my appreciation for design. We hope to bring Holly up in a place that is full of fun, style and function. We have no room for clutter. And we are limited to products that are available to Australians. This blog summarises our efforts.
