Stroll Away

Ingenious! This is the storage solution I have been waiting for!
The Metro Tots Stroll Away hooks over the door and holds your folded stroller out of the way, till the next outing.

I think it will be a while till we see these in Australia, but I had to share......
Made by think/thing.

Such a great looking nappy-bag, from Alfonso De Nicola. Keeps everything neatly organised in specific compartments, without dragging you down.

We've previously featured the Coco Baby Lounger - and got an overwhelming response - everyone agrees they are a great looking chair.
Well get ready folks, as they've just released a plexi version that is just as nice. Check it out at Bebe. Hello Red Rock! Coconut Blue! Harvest Orange! So cool.

Or more like it - starting daycare... I just ordered and received a bunch of these star kid labels, so we don't lose anything.
The labels are long-lasting and will withstand dishwashing and microwaving. I had so much fun designing the labels - you can choose the colour and icon - and there are endless combinations that look good. You can also get allergy-specific labels like, "No Nuts", to serve as a reminder for others.

I just found this list of the top ten safety gates, as selected by oh dee doh.
The gate featured above is apparently home-made. I'm impressed! Obviously a home-made gate doesn't come with the all important ASS stickers on it, but it looks fairly sturdy and professional. Better than some other DIY gates I've heard of.

It's all about the bike this week.......
Infant helmets - so cute. So necessary.
This Giro helmet is from Amazon, however, I'm planning to get mine from New Farm Bikes.

My little lady will be joining me happily on the bike (we hope).....snug and safe in one of these.
I am going to get it fitted when I decide on the final colour for the bike, at New Farm Bikes.

This is the bike I am thinking of getting......an electra townie. Not in blue, maybe pink or orange. With a baby seat on the back.
COOL! They have it down the road at New Farm Bikes. That means until I get my own, I will walk down there every day just to look at them....

..but apple podcasts are just great!
I downloaded Hamish and Andy to listen to at night while feeding Holly/putting her to bed. As the 'over-observant' one takes her time shutting her eyes, I can quietly chuckle at silly jokes and enjoy the rest of my night.....(rather than coming out of the room frustrated and tired myself).
I have also downloaded some Japanese lessons and intend to teach myself some basic Japanese before we go. I say this every time, but this time I mean it. And I have the technology to do it.
There are thousands of other podcasts I want to check out. Let me know if you know of a particularly good one!

We love to travel and have taken Holly to a few favourite spots already. However, this cute little shirt will remind her of all the places of the world we are yet to see!
Designed by Snuglo, this shirt is available from minifashionista.

These strollers are popping up all over Brisbane right now! Designed by Stokke, who also do the Sleepi Cot and Tripp Trapp highchair, the Xplory features high-placement of the seat, in order to bring the child closer to their parent, the dinner table etc.
There's a tonne of nice-looking accessories as well, to cover every possible scenario. Perhaps this is why we are also seeing so many celebs using it for their babies?
Available right now at Bubs Newstead or online at bebe.

Mint and Lilac (based in Brisbane) recently launched online.
They exclusively stock these Ah Goo Baby Change Mats.

Daddy plays soccer A LOT, so as Holly grows, she is going to spend some time on the sidelines.
Perhaps it is wishful thinking, but I'd love for her to have her own little seat to sit on, like this one from Kids Bits. I don't think it comes with a guarantee that she'll stay seated for long though?

Since our previous post about the Bugaboo Cup Holder we've discovered Amazon no longer ship this product to Australia.
So - we purchased ours from Minimee. They are doing a special deal, including the pram, sunshade and cup holder for $1350.00. If you only need the cup holder though, just contact them to purchase it separately.
We also purchased the breezy canopy to help the little one out over the summer months. (The breezy canopy is shown in orange above).
My name is Katie Mackenzie. I have a gorgeous baby girl, and a husband who shares my appreciation for design. We hope to bring Holly up in a place that is full of fun, style and function. We have no room for clutter. And we are limited to products that are available to Australians. This blog summarises our efforts.
